This week's story "Bad Debt" is by Jonathan McGoran, a Philly boy who also writes under the name D.H. Dublin. As Ole D.H., he's written three forensic crime thrillers Blood Poison, Body Trace and Freezer Burn
all out now from Penguin Books. Once you hear this, you're going to want more from him writing as himself. Drop him an email at his author page to let him know!

You can also find Jon's story "Grounders" here at Variant Frequencies.
Not only do we have a Netflix movie of the week, which is Michael Caine in Get Carter (1971)--check it out to see an awesome pre-Batman Michael Caine slimmed up, angry and ready to rock!
We also have our Indy Bookstore of the week now too. Thanks to TJ for calling in on the K7 line this week (206-350-4998) this week to tell us about The York Emporium, in York, Pennsylvania. They sell used books only, and unfortunately don't have a lot of the titles from our CW authors, but if you're looking for classic crime and noir in the PA, The York Emporium is your
place. Drop them an email to check if they have the book you want.
You can contact us at info@crimewav.com, the call-in line or leave a review for us at the iTunes store. Thank you!!

Great Great Great
I REALLY liked this podcast. The story was great. I liked how no one was a cop, no one was a die hard crook, everyone is just kind of surviving where ever and when ever they can.
Great stuff.
P.S. Jonathan McGoran really did a great job narating his own story.
Realistic and exciting
After I helped my Dad close his store most evenings, he'd stop on his way home for a drink and I'd meet guys like Bliss and Jerry, people who knew they lived on the fringe and liked it there. Great characters and story. Another Crimewav author who just gained a new fan.
Thanks!
Thanks for the great feedback, guys. I'm glad you liked it. Recording it was a lot of fun, although not uneventful (I actually just posted a blog about it, a rarity for me, at http://mcgoran.wordpress.com/). Gives me a whole new respect for podcasters.
